The Product & Design Team consists of Product experts and Product Designers. Our team works closely with Customer Success and Sales to deliver business value to our customers through our product. We work in a remote-first, hybrid setup. This means that we work remotely with flexible in-office days for ideation workshops, design sprints and team events. Our team works on synergy. Each one of us has a unique experience that enriches the overall team.

Our mission
We are constantly developing new features to make our platform better and help the metals industry move towards green metals and a more sustainable future. Our product development processes resemble a tightly choreographed dance. Our product roadmap is defined by team OKRs and customer contracts. We interview customers, identify needs, and translate them into user stories. Our Product Designers then research user flows and evaluate solutions with our Product Management and Data Scientist.
How we work
Process
At the beginning of each week, PMs and Designers present their concepts to the Product Team. After a solution is critically evaluated, tickets are sent to the developers for a pre-read. Then we align with them to move the tickets into a “ready for sprint” stage. In this stage, they can be estimated and selected for implementation in any sprint. We run two-week sprints followed by two days of testing & translation. After the end of each sprint, we run a product-engineering retrospective and also share product changes in a company-wide presentation.
Tools
All our product planning (roadmap, ideation, usability testing, etc.) happens in Notion. We use Figma & FigJam for user flows, design documentation and prototyping. Once our ideas can be broken down into tickets, we transfer them to our Scrum Board in Jira. Additionally, we use Redash and Hotjar for analyzing user behavior.
